The Mikado Fishunter lure began to form its legend in 2006, aiming to raise the bar for soft baits to a new level. It was a response to market changes, as the available lures at that time no longer met the high demands of anglers, especially when fishing for long predatory fish. The Fishunter was completely redesigned, with a new main body and tail configuration, with the aim of creating a lure that would be active even when falling to the bottom, ideal for JIG fishing. The thick and dense body with an extended tail generated new hydroacoustic waves that had a stronger effect on the instincts of predatory fish. In addition, the lure's aerodynamics were improved and the problem of the lure easily falling off the hook after an unsuccessful fish bite was solved by casting a special "nest" shape at the front of the lure, which fits perfectly to the jig head. After relentless experimentation and refinement, the 2007 season saw the first version of the Fishunter, which soon became the market leader and remains one of the main tools in the arsenal of European spinning enthusiasts.
