Vimba groundbait should attract fish while remaining effective in river current. Vimba are commonly targeted close to the bottom, so the mix needs enough weight and binding to reach the feeding zone.
Texture for flowing water
In stronger current use a heavier, more cohesive mix. Add water gradually so it holds in a feeder or bait ball but begins to break down evenly on the bottom.
Aroma and particle size
Choose according to water temperature, fish activity and local conditions. Cooler water often calls for a more restrained aroma and finer texture.
