Choose by transport length
Measure the longest packed rod section and allow some extra room for easy loading. If the reel remains attached, make sure the case has enough reel space.
Protection level
Soft cases are lighter, while semi-rigid and rigid constructions provide more protection from external pressure. Also compare zips, handles and shoulder straps.
